Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) director Dennis Itumbi has sent a touching message to President Uhuru Kenyatta on his 57th birthday.
Born on October 26, 1961, Kenya's fourth Head of State is celebrating another year in his life today (Friday).
Itumbi, the Secretary of Innovations, Digital and Diaspora Communications in the Office of the President took to social media to send a compassionate message to his boss on this important day.
"To my President, Friend and Mentor, @UKenyatta, Happy Birthday. I wish you more than a thousand more sunrises and as always I remain clay in your firm guidance, rebuke and nurturing. God Bless You and Keep You, Sir," he posted on his Twitter account.
Itumbi has become the talk of the town for his open courtroom romance to embattled Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe who is facing murder charges.
On Wednesday when the journalist appeared before High Court Judge James Wakiaga, Itumbi wrote a moving poem to his friend that left Kenyans talking.
Maribe alongside her fiance Joseph Irungu popularly known as Jowie were charged over the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani in a Kilimani house last month.
The two have since denied the charges and are waiting for the determination of their bail application next week.
