CECAFA Senior Championships will be played in Uganda starting next month from 7th to 19th December 2019.
Kenya National Football Team Harambee Stars will represent the country in the competition and hope to produce their best results.
They will hope to defend the title having won it in Machakos in December 2017.
In preparation for the competition, Harambee Stars head coach Francis Kimanzi has revealed a provisional squad for the competition.
The team is expected to start their camp on 2 December 2019.
The competition groups are already out, and Kenya has been placed in Group C which has Zanzibar, Tanzania and Djibouti.
Other teams in the competition include Uganda, Burundi, Ethiopia, and Eritrea in Group A, and DR Congo, Sudan, South Sudan, and Somalia in Group C.
Kimanzi has left out top two stars Victor Wanyama and Michael Olunga.
