With contradicting information coming out about Violet Kemunto, the woman believed to be the wife of prime suspect Ali Gichunge, all indications are that the couple had all along planned to move out of Ruaka Estate.

On a Facebook account identify with her name, Violet, who is now believed to have crossed the border despite claims that she had been arrested, asked Kenyans to buy some of her households on Monday.

“We are moving out of Nairobi this week, so it’s a quick sale. Prices slightly negotiable,” the caption that accompanied pictures of the goods read.

Some of the items she wanted to sell include Television sets, shoes, refrigerator, cooking gas smong others. On the post, she indicated her contacts which when one tries to send money online, it brings out her name.

According to the Nation, Kemunto pursued Journalism and PR from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and subsequently, graduated in 2015.

Her friends who spoke in confidence described her as a queit and friendly girl who wore hijab most of the times despite her Christian name. 

“She was quiet most of the time and friendly to everyone she interacted with. She spoke only when taking part in class or group discussions and didn’t take alcohol or smoke cigarettes.”

Later, she's said to have dumped her university boyfriend and moved to Nairobi for search of jobs.

From there, she got a job at a phone shop in Nairobi. Then things moved so fast from there on and, before long, she had another boyfriend.
