In one of the messages that will come as a shock to air transport users across the world, a worker expressed concerns about the Boeing 737 Max plane, saying that it was designed by clowns.

"This airplane is designed by clowns who in turn are supervised by monkeys," one of the leaked messages read as quoted by the BBC.

"We are going to push back very hard on this and will likely need support at the highest levels when it comes time for the final negotiation," another leaked message from November 2015 read.

The plane manufacturer responded Friday to reports of the leaked internal communications, saying, "These communications do not reflect the company we are and need to be, and they are completely unacceptable."

Boeing has been battling a mounting public relations crisis since two of its crashed killing all passengers on board within months.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) also issued a statement in the wake of the leakages.

"Any potential safety deficiencies identified in the documents have been addressed, "the FAA said

“The tone and content of some of the language contained in the documents is disappointing," it added.
