A form two student from God Ber Secondary School is nursing injuries at their home in Igemo Sub-location, Marani Ward, Kitutu Chache North after she was allegedly brutally injured by the area assistant Chief Mr David Ong'era.
It is alleged that Salome Ogamba was sent school fees from school when the chief stormed their home in search of illicit brew which she was not aware of.
Salome refused to open the door for the local administrator who she says resorted to attacking her using a piece of wood, injuring her hand in the incident that happened three weeks ago.
In an exclusive interview with her, Salome narrated that her parents were not at home when the sub-chief arrived and they had left with the keys.
"My parents had left home and I did not find them when I arrived at home. The sub-chief forced me to open the door and even after telling him I did not have the keys, he threw a piece of wood at me which landed on my right hand when I tried to block it from hitting my forehead," narrated Salome.
Her mother Elizabeth Mwango told this writer that they immediately reported the matter to the Police and obtained p3 forms but nothing has been done so far.
"I reported the matter to the police and Obtained P3 forms. My daughter is under the medication and now unable to write in class. Nothing has been done so far and the chief is walking free," recounted Mwango.
"Am pleading to relevant Authorities even the Ministry of Education so that my daughter can get Justice The Chang'aa they were looking for they even did not find it. I fail to understand what was the motive behind the whole issue," she broke into tears.
The Marani Deputy County Commissioner David Saruni told this writer on the phone that the matter is under serious investigation.
The area Chief and the alleged sub-chief refused to comment on the matter when they were contacted on phone.
