Seven colleges in Eldoret have been closed down by The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority.

TVET chairman said on Thursday that the colleges had not complied with the law. 

The affected technical institutions are:

1. Eldoret College of Accountancy. 

2. Royal Institute of Management Studies. 

3. Vera Beauty College. 

4. Apex Institute College. 

5. Kenya Association of Professional of Counsellors, Region. 

6. Eldoret College of Accountancy, Alliance Francaise. 

7. Hekima Professional Counselling and Training Institute.
