Old and unused tyres are often found in many garages in our homes lying idle. But there are several ways in which they can be put to good use at our homes.
1.Swings
You can convert these old tires into swings for children. Hang a single tyre with two ropes from each side, decorate it and let the kids enjoy.
2. Planters
Because of their shapes and sizes, old tyres are excellent pieces to decorate kitchen gardens. They are usually filled up with soil and flowers are planted. This looks perfectly nice.
3. Mirror Frame
A thin strip of a bicycle tyre could easily be used for this interesting craft. Simply wash and dry the tyre strip. Use a layer of transparent varnish to give the tyre luster. You can also spray any colour on it or paint it to your liking.
4. Pet Bed
Are you spending a lot of money to get a bed for your pet? Old tyres offer the perfect shape for a welcoming and beautiful pet bed. All you need to do is fit a pillow in the tire and decorate it with paint.
5. Trash Can
Old tyres can make a nice trash can. The idea basically, involves stacking three tyres which create space which could be used as a bin.
6. Outdoor Coffee Table
This decoration made with old tires is stylish. Place one tyre on top of the other and paint them as you please then put a wooden or plastic top on it to complete your table.
7. Outdoor sofas
Old tyres, when filled with pillows inside, make good outdoor sofas.
