Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli has insisted that Deputy President William Ruto will not be on the ballot box come 2022.
According to Atwoli, who has been vocal on matters of national interest, Ruto lacks the qualities to make a good President.
Atwoli divulged that the second in command has proven beyond doubt that he lacks the goodwill of Kenyans at heart, adding that he is in for a rude shock when that time comes.
Atwoli also alluded that Ruto, who is considered as one of the frontrunners in the contest for power, has disrespected the President. He also launched an attacked against Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale for backing Ruto for power.
“2022 we are going to have a leader. You will vote for politicians to lead this nation and among leaders who will be in the government William Samoei Ruto, Boni Khalwale and their allies in that coalition will not be part of the government,” he said in a Video shared on YouTube.
