Through his hit "Wajinga Nyinyi", the rapper is facing possible defamation charges after calling out several leaders for abuse of office.

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru on Monday threatened to sue Ombima for defamation over the song and has since given him ultimatums to apologize.

On Tuesday, Karua said she's ready to assist the musician but asked activist Boniface Mwangi to fundraise for King Kaka.

"Lets mobilize for his defense fund @bonifacemwangi But I am available to assist should it be necessary," she said.

Karua has been at loggerheads with Waiguru, with the pair having closely contested for the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat in 2017.

Among others, the song condemns levels of corruption in Kenya and ineptitude leadership as manifested among those in power.

Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi is also among those who have volunteered to help the musician should he be taken to court.

"I said and I repeat..I will give legal representation to @RabbitTheKing against ANYONE who sues him for the lyric #Wajinganyiyi .I'm of the considered view that no one amongst the ruling elites or the masses was defamed. UGLY, CRASS and LEWD commentaries on soceity are PRIVILEGED," he tweeted.
