However, never shy away from telling your boss he made a mistake.

You need to create a good rapport with your boss if you want to work well. Here are three tips to tell your boss he’s wrong.

1. Acknowledge his authority

Bosses deserve respect all the time. It is important to acknowledge the authority of your boss.

As much as he is making mistakes, he remains your boss. Always give him the respect he deserves whenever you are correcting them.

Never say something that is likely to offend your boss even if it is correcting them in whichever manner.

2. Keep it professional

Professionalism is critical at the work place.  Make sure you maintain some level of professionalism while advising your boss. Stick within the lanes of professionalism.

3. Know when to stop

Do not keep reminding your boss that he is on the wrong all the time. If you remind him once then it is enough

Your boss is likely to get mad at you if you continue with your corrections.

Give your boss some space to correct the mistakes he has made in life. Sometimes it makes no sense to be overcritical.
