Likoni water tragedy has continued to receive more setbacks as it now emerges that a private diver paid by the family has been suspended.
The diver was suspended on the allegations that he was giving the family false information regarding the location of the two bodies that plunged into the Indian Ocean.
"Let me stay aside, no let me go. I won't say anything much because there is friction..." the private told the press as he left the channel on Wednesday.
Kenya Ferry Services on Wednesday gave an update that they had located 14 locations where the sunken vehicle with its occupants might be.
They already surveyed five of them completed from both ends of the channel.
The recovery team deployed underwater robots with cameras to aid in the search of the vehicle.
"The Ministry is concerned, the all government is concerned and putting in place measures to ensure that this recovery is concluded as soon as possible," Transport PS Esther Koimett said
The recovery operation is expected to continue until the vehicle and remains of the occupants are retrieved.
