Veteran Kenyan hip hop artist Brian Ouko Omollo alias Khaligraph Jones, has lately caused a social media uproar after hitting out at MCSK over meagre pay in royalties.
However, in an Instagram post that the artist shared, Khaligraph jocularly claimed he will acquire the famous 'juju' while in Nigeria where he is at currently.
"Let it get to those cons MCSK I am heading to Nigeria to pick very powerful juju. When I come back, you will pay what you owe people (Ifikie Hao Magathee, MCSk Nimeenda Nigeria kuchukua Juju Zingine hatari, Nikirudi mtalipa pesa za watu nyinyi) The OG shall be Respected," he said in a post.
On Tuesday, many Kenyan artistes expressed their frustration after MCSk sent them Sh2,500 in royalties.
However, the "Leave me alone" hitmaker said that he is still going to represent Kenya internationally and push boundaries despite frustration by MCSK.
"Lagos Nigeria We here, Living my best life with my 2500 from MCSK but regardless, The OG shall push Boundaries, The OG shall Represent Kenya On That international Market, Some Sacrifices we make are for the greater good, The OG shall be respected," he added.
The "mazishi" hitmaker who has grown in Kayole maintained his patience and consistency have paid off as he now rubs shoulders with some of the big names in the music industry globally.
