He said the move was uncalled for since no one is above the law.

“Who are you that after swindling public funds you think you are above the law when the government says you are needed to answer questions for misappropriation of funds you behave as if you are above the law. This is uncalled and should be condemned with the strongest terms possible,” said ANC party leader.

Mudavadi who was speaking ant at the International Vision Center church in Eldoret during a funds drive on Sunday said if you are needed by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) or Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)  to go peacefully and don’t cause any chaos or drama.

“If money has been stolen and you are called by DCI, EACC please go there in peace instead of bringing your supporters to bring violence because you don’t want to go and answer questions,” added Mudavadi.

The ANC party leader said such actions are showing bad precedence to future generations who will not follow the law but instead use violence to protect themselves from their evil doings.

Mudavadi called for further investigation for the other governors saying most of them are corruption and only time when their arrest will be made.

He further said that it is sad that those being used to cause violence were not there while you were stealing the public funds and they are just being used to protect a politician for them to get political mileage.

The Nairobi governor Mike Soko was arrested on Friday facing corruption charges and will be arraigned in court on Monday.
