Political commentator Mark Bichachi now says that politicians should be ashamed of themselves for engaging in unnecessary issues which are of no importance to Kenyans.
Speaking on Tuesday, the communication expert stressed on the need for politicians to focus on useful things like the implementation of the Vision 2030 agenda.
He pointed out that the issues now being brought up by others, like the circumcision stereotype, only shows how low Kenyan politicians are stooping.
"What does sexual parts have to do with politics. If we ask our politicians where our vision 2030 has reached they don't know but they know the rate of circumcision in the country, they should be ashamed of themselves," he said on K24.
Bichachi spoke only hours after ex-Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale said that he faced off with Kibra youth on Thursday, since his culture doesn't allow uncircumcised boys to challenge a man.
Bichachi said that the same goes to female politicians, who he observed are also beginning to emulate their male counterparts in delving into the same bad politics.
"Just because the men in politics are doing something bad that doesn't mean the women should do the same. Bad politics is bad politics and we should call it out as it is," he added.
This comes only a few days after Garissa Woman Representative Anab Subbow claimed that ODM leader Raila Odinga is unfit to lead, basing on the same stereotype.
