Facing the Tanzania Premier League (TPL) champions was always going to be a hard task for an Ingwe side that is rebuilding.
Even so, AFC Leopards played well and fans should be proud of the team. Despite losing 1-0, Ingwe held the host and were unfortunate to concede with one minute to go.

The duo looked much more organized in defense than last season and will be expected to lead from the front again when the league starts.
New signing Tresor Ndikumana showed glimpses of what he can do in midfield if given more game time to impress. With goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan proving why he will be a key figure next season.
As usual, Ingwe created many scoring chances but there was no end product, the fans will be hoping Mbungo finds the right attacking trio before the start of the new campaign.
The fans should be excited about this new-look team heading into next season, their 1-0 loss is not a reflection of how they played on a good day this Ingwe squad could tear any team apart.
