Speaking at the Bomas of Kenya, DP Ruto said that the report has given a chance to rethink about their problems before forging ahead. The second in command said that Kenyans have realized where they went wrong and are ready to change their ways.

Ruto, who is considered one of the forerunners in the race for Presidency in 2022, also said that the process must be approached with sobriety.

"We must be careful not to have this process hijacked by the political class. This process must not address the divide between politicians. It must address the divide between the haves and have nots," he said.

The DP asked leaders to consider the interests of the general public while rooting for reforms in the government. He further said that he fully supports the call for a national dialogue to change the administration of this nation.

"We should avoid costly, potentially divisive processes that will divide us. It is possible for us to build consensus and arrive at our destination together," he said.

On his part, ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga said that the report marks the beginning of a new era, adding that he is fully behind the same.
