Some car problems are so complex that will require a specialist to fix them but there are some minor and mere ones you can diagnose yourself and save cost.
Here are the problems you can fix your own and save some cash;
1. Replace engine air filter
This is one of the easiest problems you can fix yourself. Remove the old filter by unscrewing the air filter box retainers. If you need to confirm how much light penetrates through, hold a shop light behind the filter. Check if the filter blocks 50 per cent of much light. If so, you will need to replace another one. Just get a new air filter and place it where you had removed the old one by just screwing it.
2. Wiper blades
After discovering the old wiper are not effective like before, you will need to replace them. This is how to replace them; slide the small clip that holds the blade to the wiper arm down. Remove and dispose of the old blade. Keenly install the new blade into the groom and confirm if it has clicked into place.
3. Headlight bulbs
To replace another bulb, open your hood and remove a rubber boot that protects the headlight from the back of the lamp assembly. Unplug the bundled cables and release the clips that support the bulbs. Exercise caution when touching the new bulb glass part; reason being, the bulbs can burn out prematurely when they come into contact with the oil on your hands. Remember to replace them in reverse order.
