Beyonce's song, Spirit will be used as a soundtrack to Disney’s new version of The Lion King Movie.

The song's video was uploaded on YouTube, largest video sharing platform, on Wednesday 17th and is rapidly gaining fame in Kenya. It is currently trending at number 12 on You Tube-Kenya with over 7 million views.

Spirit starts off with Swahili lyrics which might be one of the reasons why the song is gaining fame in Kenya rapidly.

"Stay for long King, (Uishi kwa muda mrefu mfalmeeeee, a voice chants twice, before a deep-male voice responds with 'uishi kwa....)," read the Swahili lyrics before Beyonce comes in with her English piece.

"Yeah year, and the wind is talking, yeah, yeah for the first time with a melody that pulls you towards it, painting pictures of paradise, saying rise up to the light in the sky, yeah watch the light lift up your heart, burn your flame through the night," reads her first stanza.

The video is fine and very entertaining from the start-up to the end with wild animals taking the better part of it.

The Lion King movie is set to be released on Friday, July 19  2019, about 25 years since its cartoon was version was released, 1994. It will be directed by John Faveau.
