This comes only a week after the National Transport And Safety Authority (NTSA), suspended Modern Coast buses from operating over a poor road safety record.

In a statement on it's social media platforms, Modern Coast noted that NTSA had cleared it's buses to resume operations later today.

"We are pleased to inform all our passengers that we have received permission from NTSA to resume normal scheduled bus services from 1.00 pm today the 17.12.2019.

"We apologise for the inconvenience caused to all affected passengers who were not able to travel between the 12.12.2019 and 16.12.2019. We shall share the full scheduled buses for today 17.12.2019 within 1 hour," Modern Coast said in a statement.

This is a major relief for a section of travelers who had booked Modern Coast buses for the holiday travel.

NTSA revoked the company's license after two of it's buses were involved in an accident leaving seven people dead, and scores others injured.
