Embattled Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has claimed Interior PS Karanja Kibicho is punishing him for supporting Deputy President William Ruto.
In an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday, he said there were no tangible reasons for his arrest on Monday.
This was after he engaged in an altercation with nominated MP Maina Kamanda at a church function in Kiharu where they all come from.
He explained that the chaos were as a result of embarrassment when Kamanda failed to follow protocol, a move that he thought was aimed at demeaning and humiliating him.
His supporters were seen roughing up two police officers who arrived to create cool before he got into his car.
Being a key member of the Tanga Tanga group, Nyoro claimed PS Kibicho is after him for supporting DP Ruto's agenda in the central region.
“PS Kibicho is punishing me for supporting William Ruto," he said.
He added that the Kieleweke team which is opposed to the Tanga Tanga team is funded by Kibicho in bid to push for Odinga's agenda in the central region.
“I can tell you and anyone who has contrary views can even take me to court, 'Kieleweke' is funded by PS Kibicho," he added.
He further revealed that Maina Kamanda who is known to be a staunch member of the Kielelweke divide told them to be ready to accept Raila Odinga as the next president.
“It is not my personal problem to sell any candidate in Mt Kenya region… These people called ‘Kieleweke’ including Maina Kamanda have always told us “Mpende msipende huyu (Raila Odinga) ndiye rais wenu mmuzoe mapema (whether you like it or not, Raila Odinga will be your next president)," the youthful MP said.
He walked to freedom early Tuesday after he was released unconditionally with no charges.
