Political analyst Tom Nduko now says that there is a great need for Deputy President William Ruto to discipline a section of his allies uncomfortable with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
This comes shortly after Ruto's Rift Valley allies took issue with the prosecution of former National Treasury CS Henry Rotich who hails from the region, over allegation claims.
Among them was Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi who proceeded to castigate Uhuru, claiming that he (Sudi) can perform better in that position, remarks Nduko has taken issues with.
He stressed on the need for the DP to halt and possibly punish such behaviours, terming it disrespectful to the president, under his (Ruto) very nose.
"Ruto should discipline his forces, especially Sudi. He should know when to speak. Some like Sudi think because Uhuru is young he is their equal. He (Uhuru) has the vote of this country," he said on Wednesday.
He made the remarks on KBC English Service's The Big Conversation Show on Wednesday morning.
The commentator advised Sudi and the likes to handle their issues with Uhuru decently, as the public route they are taking is undermining his position as the head of the country.
He stated that at no point did Uhuru prevent anyone from accessing him at the State House, an opportunity they should present their problems to the President.
"When they have issues with the president, let them meet him in the State House. When they go public it means he is their equal," added the analyst.
