Outspoken city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has allegedly requested to visit Deputy President William Ruto's Karen home, an aide has claimed.
For months now, Mr Kipkorir, a fierce defender of the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, has been accusing Dr Ruto of sabotaging peace process in the country.
Recently, he clashed with Ruto's handlers following his questions over the source of millions the DP contributes to churches and schools in Kenya.
"Safaricom, the Most Profitable Company in Africa has donated Kshs. 1.8 Billion to Charity in Ten Years .... This translates to paltry Kshs. 3.4m per week,x he wrote.
"TangaTanga Politicians combined, give away over Kshs. 20m per Week ... How can they have more money than Safaricom? asked Kipkorir.
For the better part of this week, Kipkorir has been at loggerheads with State House Secretary for Digital Innovation Dennis Itumbi, who accuses him of biased analysis.
Ruto's communication aide Emmanuel Talam on Tuesday claimed that Mr Kipkorir had requested to visit Karen, but he did not elaborate further.
"Breaking bread lawyer Donald Kipkorir has requested a visit to DP's Karen residence for an exhibition. He's welcome @kipmurkomen @OleItumbi ...come break break good lawyer!" he claimed.
While Kipkorir is yet to confirm or deny the claims, Mr Itumbi was also quick to hit back, arguing that Kipkorir always seeks for audience with those he criticises.
"In Public he puts up a show of defiance, in private he calls and texts, seeking to be associated by the very man he calls all manner of names. SlayQueenLawyer - I will be there to witness @EmmanuelTalam," he wrote.
