Political analyst Herman Manyora now wants Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi to be extra careful with trade unionist Francis Atwoli.
Speaking on Saturday, Manyora said that Atwoli is in a better position to snatch away Mudavadi's current Western Kenya political kingpin slot.
He observed that the former Deputy Prime Minister has been unable to stamp authority in the region, which might give Atwoli who appears stronger an opportunity to topple him.
"To Mudavadi, if you don't organize your people, Atwoli will take over. He might have said that he is not interested in any seat but power is power and its sweet," advised Manyora.
He was speaking on his YouTube channel Take it or Leave It on Saturday morning, where he noted that Atwoli has since demonstrated that he is not a pushover on matters politics.
He cited Wednesday's Labour Day celebrations where the trade unionist singlehandedly managed to mobilize over 100 MPs, saying the same should be a wakeup call for Mudavadi.
"Atwoli is a powerful man, a man who recently mobilized over 100 MPs to attend the Labour Day function. Mudavadi will have to occupy his position and get serious," added Manyora.
Ironically, Atwoli installed Mudavadi as the Luhya Kingpin in a function that was held at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega in 2016.
Atwoli has also been very vocal on matters politics, not only about Western Kenya, but also about the 2022 presidential race, and has also been driving the referendum debate.
