Celebrated Kamba gospel singer Stephen Kasolo also known as "Kitole" has written a very touching message to his late mother.

Posting on his Facebook page on Wednesday, the "Kyaa kya Ngai" singer said that he was missing his late mother badly and wished to see her and take her for a holiday.

"Mum I miss you wherever you are. It's now 17 years down the line. But I thank God am now grown,if you see me now you won't know me(But I thank God coz nimegrow Sana. Ukiniona hauta nijua),"part of his touchy post reads.

According to the controversial musician and a multiple groove awards winner, his daughter Shine Kasolo has also been asking to see her grandmother.

"Noo... Come back I want to tell you something and take you out for two months ooo. Imagine shine Kasolo is asking for you Aaaiii," he continued.

The singer who grew up in poverty and faced many challenges before his hit song "Kitole" brought him to the limelight, was left in the hands of his grandmother after his parents passed away.

In his song, "Natiiwe naku" , the singer explains how he grew up in poverty and how he lost his parents, his only sister and how his older brother became mentally challenged.

"In the year  2000 I received very sad news that my mother has passed on in Makadara,I cried so much. (Ngili na ili nakwatie ripoti na ngaia muno. Ngatavya mami niwatutia evau makadara)," part of the song lyrics go.
