Police in Nakuru are in search of a middleman who allegedly strangled his 26-year-old wife to death in Kiamunyi area.
As reported by the citizen digital, the man left a notice on his bed revealing that he had gone to Menengai crater with his child where he allegedly attempted to commit suicide.
According to the Nakuru County Police Commander Stephen Matu, the deceased was found dead on a bed with the doors shut.
"The deceased was found laying lifeless on her bed with doors locked," said the Nakuru county police commander
The Nakuru police boss, also revealed that the child was later rescued.
The increased rate of killings among couples in the county has led the residents appealing to for the government to come out and fight against the vice.
Sammy Ngigi, the deceased father has however called upon the government's investigative authorities to speed up their investigations and serve justice.
The deceased body was taken to Nakuru County Municipal Mortuary waiting for postmortem.
This comes after a horrific murder of Joyce Syombua and her two children in whose bodies were found buried in shallow graves in Nanyuki few Kilometers from the Laikipia Airbase, with Major Peter Mugure being the prime suspect in the murder ordeal.
