Even though we all know Bob Collymore was cremated on Tuesday and no one will see him again, he has left a legacy.
The former Safaricom boss died of cancer at the age of 61, and the whole country has mourned his death.
Any Kenyan can confirm Bob did a commendable job.
Here are a number of things Bob Collymore will be remembered for.
1. Special mother care for his employees
Some Safaricom employees eulogized his death by thanking him for the special care he gave to mothers.
"You charmed mothers by introducing 4 months maternity leave, 6 months working half-day post-maternity leave, 7am to 5.30pm creche/daycare with qualified professional caregivers, fully equipped lactation rooms, maternity leave after baby adoption, case by case increased medical cover for children with special needs, baby friendly vaccines in the cover, great maternity cover for normal and CS deliveries," read one of Safaricom's employee, Jackline Lavoga Kibisu's Facebook post in part.
2. Mshwari
With Commercial Bank of Africa, Safaricom launched M-Shwari in late 2012 under the leadership of Bob Collymore, whose benefits only Kenyans can explain it in a better version. Talk of the saving situation for quick loans, Mshwari saving challenge that has encouraged Kenyans to save, etc.
3. M-Pesa Academy
The academy was introduced when Bob was in office, and one of its best benefits to Kenyans is financing more than 800 students from poor families.
Other things included the introduction of Lipa na Mpesa which started in 2013, 4G Network in 2014, Safaricom Home Fiber, among many more.
