The parents led by one Vincent Omenda lamented that the school administration had assured them that their children were registered for the exams.

Omeda told journalists that it was not until last week that he realized that his son was not registered for KCPE.

He recalled that his son came home requesting for Sh2800 money meant to be paid for KCPE registration lest he is locked out of the examination.

Omeda's son and three other pupils will miss the exam. According to Citizen Digital, the private school has 26 candidates waiting to sit for their KCPE examinations, however, only 18 are registered.

Five others had been advised to register in another center while the three remain in the dark as to whether they will seat for the exam or not.

When contacted for comment the school management adamantly refused to comment on the issue.

However, Bondo sub-county director of education Elisha Omala confirmed that probe into the matter and investigation is underway.
