Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has sent her condolence message to the families of the victims affected by lightning in Kuseroi North, Nakuru. During the fateful incident on Thursday, three pupils lost their lives at Mkulima Primary school
In her message, Kihika mourned with the families, friends, and relatives of the three pupils killed. It's further reported that twenty-seven other pupils were injured
"My most sincere condolences to the families, friends and the entire school community for the loss of the young lives, may the Lord comfort you as you mourn the lives of the departed. To those who sustained injuries, I wish them a quick recovery." she wrote on her official Facebook page
On the 27 injured learners, Nakuru County Director of Communication Beatrice Obwocha confirmed that plans are ongoing to save their dear lives noting the team of medics had been sent to scene.
"The department of health has also dispatched a team of clinical officers and nurses to Kuresoi Health Center. Plans are also underway to refer those in critical condition for specialized care at Nakuru level five facility," Beatrice Obwocha said
Moreover, Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui said that they will ensure the survivors receive quality health care.
