It is unclear who will spearhead the campaign to popularize the report between three governors in the region and Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.

Makueni MP Daniel Maanzo has now asked Raila not to dare front the three county bosses to lead the campaigns.

According to Maanzo, Kalonzo remains the party leader.

He claimed that the ODM leader has been working behind scenes to humiliate the former Vice President.

“The rally is being organized by Kalonzo but I understand Raila is pretending to appoint Ngilu. Raila should avoid directing us here in Ukambani,” Maanzo said, as quoted by Star.

The MP said that the parallel rallies held in the region will cause divisions.

Kalonzo has planned to hold a meeting on February 7 to address the report in Wote.

Governors Charity Ngilu (Kitui), Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni) and Alfred Mutua (Machakos) are expected to meet on Saturday.

Pro-BBI team has organized countrywide popularization meetings with the next one scheduled for Mombasa this weekend.

Already politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto have also said they will be part of the meetings, a decision that took many by surprise.
