The Leader of Minority in the National Assembly John Mbadi on Tuesday warned Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen and allies opposed to the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Speaking during an interview at Citizen TV, Mbadi claimed that they are supporting the process and they trust the BBI team to produce the report.
He added that it was wrong for some of the leaders to oppose BBI yet they do not know the contents of the report.
"We are supporting the initiative, we are supporting BBI to produce the report... When we see people who are opposing the team and the process which is going to generate a report then we say you are wrong," Mbadi stated during the interview.
Mbadi warned those opposing the initiative saying that they may get "injured" in the process.
"If you are fighting the construction of the house, we'll tell you that you may get injured. So that is the warning that we are giving Murkomen and others who are opposing an initiative that the country feels is likely to produce a report that may unite the country," Mbadi noted.
The BBI task force concluded its assignment on October 23.
