Accompanied by his family, the MP delivered a cake to DP William Ruto's mother Sarah Cheruiyot.

Mr Sudi and the family sang Christmas carols for the octogenarian before cutting the cake.

"Together with my family, we delivered the message of Christmas to DP's mother Mama Sarah Cheruiyot in her home in Kamagut village, Turbo Constituency. Merry Christmas to you all my people," he wrote.

Sudi is one of the closest allies of the DP, with the latter playing a significant role in his steady rise in politics.

Mr Sudi first won the seat in 2013 having previously worked as a matatu conductor within Eldoret town.

Last week, Sudi was also one of the leaders who wished Dr Ruto a happy birthday, terming him as a close friend.

"Happy birthday to the most amazing friend ever. May all your dreams and aspirations come true. As you celebrate this great day, we also celebrate you for demonstrating exemplary leadership and inspiring many. Have a blast boss. William Samoei Ruto," Sudi wrote on his Facebook page.
