In a tweet on Sunday, the exiled lawyer compared the former Prime Minister to the former Butere MP the late Martin Shikuku.

He said the two betrayed their people and party to join their political enemies.

"There is no difference between what The People's Con-Man @RailaOdinga did on March 9, 2018 to what Martin Shikuku did when he chose to betray FORD and opted to "eat ugly" with Moi at State House on May 20, 1992. A traitor is a traitor. Raila Odinga is a traitor. #SayNoToUjinga," said Miguna in the tweet.

The lawyer who participated in the illegal swearing-in of the ODM leader on January 31, 2018, further explained why he participated in the exercise that led to his deportation to Canada.

"I did not swear @RailaOdinga in so that he could betray Kenyans. I did so for him and us to secure and safeguard the public interests: electoral justice, social justice, respect for human rights and the Constitution. But he used it to bargain for money, carpets and bodyguards," he noted in another tweet.

Miguna's tweet against Raila is in reference to the March 2018 handshake between the ODM leader and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He has been hitting out at the veteran politician who agreed to bury the hatchet with Uhuru following a disputed 2017 polls.
