Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko caused a stir on social media Wednesday after he visited the scene of attack at Dusit2D hotel-complex.
Sonko accompanied a powerful government delegation to the scene minutes after President Uhuru Kenyatta held a press briefing and assured the nation that the attackers had been overpowered by the police.
Netizens were left tongue wagging after the county boss was photographed dressed and posing like a ‘commando’.
The dramatic politician was in black goggles and a jungle cap with a section of Kenyans saying he had also 'carelessly exposed his gun'.

The county boss had earlier appealed on the public to remain calm following the attack.
“I condemn the act of terror and also appeal to the members of the public to remain calm as our security agencies handle the situation,” he said.
