The Kenyan women motorbike riders, Throttle Queens have headed to Tanzania-Malawi border for the reception of baton for Women Riders World Relay (WRWR).

The eight Kenyan bikers are set to participate in the Kenyan and Tanzanian leg of  the relay which is projected to be competitive. 

To support the riders, Yamaha and Toyota Kenya has given Aisha Mohammed of Kenya a Yamaha FZ-S 150CC for the relays.

“As we support our Kenyan female riders, we are also giving them an opportunity to experience the joy that comes with riding a Yamaha motorbike," Yamaha Brand Manager Cleon Oguya said. 

Oguya further noted that the motorbike is ideal and comfortable for long rides. The motorbike costs  sh300,000.

Women Riders World Relay is a group of more than 10,000 women bikers from across the globe and they participate at the largest women motorbike riding relay. The current series began in February 2019 in Europe and has rapidly gained popularity across the world.
