Kisii MP on the spot over TTI consignment dumped in Karen

On a phone interview with this writer, area Member of Parliament Alfa Miruka who had dismissed the story terming it as propaganda admitted that indeed it was true.

"I could not believe the story because I was not aware of such. I followed up immediately and discovered that indeed it was true. Machines have arrived at Riamo TTI and we hope it will help young people better their education," Said Miruka.

The consignment was sent to the ministry of education, department of vocational and technical education and was to be directly delivered to Riamo Technical Training Institute.

Miruka vowed to make sure the remaining section of the institute which is currently under construction is complete to allow immediate installation of the Machines.

"The lorries arrived but there is a section which is not complete. The contractor on site is working with speed to make sure it's complete,' Said Miruka.

He has urged Youths from the area to register for training and utilize the facility to gain skills for self-employment.

"Our Young people should register in large numbers. Nowadays the government pays school fees. I urge them to use the facility we together eradicated Joblessness in our community," added Miruka.
