In a list forwarded to the county assembly on Tuesday, he retained nine of the ten CeCs who served in the county leadership before the departure of the former Governor, the late Joyce Laboso.

They are; Juliana Yegon (Education and Vocational Training), Daisy Rono (Urban Planning, Housing and Lands), Justus Maina (Administration, Public Service and ICT) and Bernard Ngeno (Youth, Sports and Social Service).

Others are Andrew Sigei (Finance), Julius Tuei (Agriculture), Benson Sang (Water, Environment and Natural Resources), Philip Sawek (Roads and Transport) and Joseph Sitonik (Public Health and Social Services).

However, the fate of recently appointed Tourism and Trade CEC Julia Chepkuto remains unknown as her name is missing from the list.

His is even as MCAs vowed that they will not spare those they feel have underperformed in the list, and will keenly look into it before approving the reappointments.

The list was received by the assembly Speaker Shadrack Rotich and is set to be looked into once the MCAs return from recess on August 21.
