Senior Counsel Ahmednassir Abdullahi has said that he is releasing his Twitter 'prisoners' as a way of exercising his Ramadhan clemency.
"In line with my annual tradition, this evening I will open the doors of my Twitter prison and empty the cells. I will exercise my Ramadan clemency prerogative and UNBLOCK the few dimwits/dullards, ruffians & bully boys I blocked from following me on Twitter in the past 12 months," he posted on Twitter.
Many celebrities on Twitter have developed the habit of blocking followers who tend to be bringing negative vibes and hate to their social media pages.
Ahmednassir Abdullahi is one of the most famous lawyers in the country mostly due to his controversial statements, especially on social media.
His controversial statements normally attract different views, and reactions from his followers, some of which are harsh, others insulting, and demeaning.
It is from this point of view, that some influential personalities decide to block common users who bring negative vibes to their pages.
Chief Kadhi Sheikh Ahmed Muhdhar on Friday told Muslims to wait for an official announcement from their leaders before they start the Ramadhan fasting period.
Ramadhan is a period where Muslims fast and pray, while helping the needy in society.
