The community noted that DP Ruto has been helping other religions in the country, therefore, said he should also help them.

Through the society's President Harrison Mumia, it pleaded with DP Ruto to attend their event which will be held on September 14, 2019. At the same time, they want him to donate funds during the event that will help them fund various activities.

Secondly, they asked him to associate himself with the Atheist community in the country just like he has done with Christians and Muslims.

Thirdly, they asked him to help them build schools and hospitals.

“We would want the DP to help us build schools and hospitals that are truly secular. We want to support the jobless in Kenya by setting up training centres that are based on secular values. We want to build children homes and assist the Government eliminate the street children menace in the country,” reads parts of their press statement.

The group which doesn't believe in the existence of God in August came out to ask Interior CS Dr Fred Matiang'i to give them a public holiday.

They asked that February 17 be made a public holiday for them.
