Dr Mutua graced a function at the Muthale Parish Catholic Church on Sunday alongside the former presidential candidate in 2007 presidential election.

In a series of pictures shared on social media by the KFCB boss of the function, Dr Mutua is seen laughing as the former vice president speaks to him and Father Anthony Mutie, a religious leader at the parish.

Clearly, the no-nonsense KFCB boss was enjoying every bit of his conversation with Kalonzo Musyoka.

In glowing terms, he described the moment with the Wiper Party leader as a fulfilling one.

"With former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Muthale Parish Catholic Church Father Anthony Mutio during a church function last Sunday.

"The former VP has a very rich sense of humour and decorum. Spending time at close proximity on Sunday was a fulfilling experience, " Dr Ezekiel Mutua's Facebook post read.

The former vice president was the chief guest at the event at the Catholic parish in Muthale.

Both Kalonzo and Dr Mutua come from the Kamba tribe and are staunch Christians.
