NASA leader Raila Odinga has been advised to declare publicly his retirement early to avoid humiliation in 2022 general elections.
According to a Jubilee politicians from Gusii region led by Steve Arika, Raila will never defeat Deputy President William Ruto.
"Even it means DP Ruto won't campaign in 2022, Raila will not win elections. It is advisable for him to go home early to avoid being humiliated in 2022," said Arika.
The vocal politician maintained that Jubilee party will continue being in power because opposition leaders are not serious with the country's leadership.
"Opposition leaders will continue being in the political cold until a time they will support a serious leader to contest for Presidency," he noted.
Isaac Motari wondered why the former prime minister is not retiring.
"Raila is an elder who should go home for the purpose of avoiding political insults and humiliations. Let him retire and be an advisor to his juniors," he noted.
The Jubilee youth leader however, recognized Raila as a 'father' of democracy.
"He has fought for democracy but, it his time to go home in peace," he added.
