Aggression can be termed as an act of delivering an aversive stimulus to a victim who is unwilling. We have both destructive and persuasive aggression. For destructive aggression, a person goes along to frustrate an individual perceived to stand on his or her way while for the case of persuasive, an individual finds it to be useful since he or she uses it to gain recognition and attention as well. The following ways are essential when dealing with aggression.

1. Remain calm

At times people associate silence with fear. Actually, that shouldn’t be the case as silence is always the best answer to be given to a foolish person. Being calm enables one to acquire strength so as to think of the next possible action to take when dealing with an aggressive person.

2. Understand the root of the problem

It is of great value to always try and understand the root cause of the problem. Once you have the knowledge, you will be able to cure aggressive behavior in an individual. Anything that has got a beginning has an end too.

3. Educate people

Knowledge is essential as in most cases people perish due to lack of knowledge. Educating people on how to manage their anger and emotions enables them to overcome aggression. We should note that most people behave according to their level of understanding.   

4. Be real

 Never fake things when dealing with aggression. Learn to be real in different life aspects. Faking will only hurt you at the end of the day.
