The University of Eldoret (UoE) students found it rough after a heavy downpour that was experienced on Wednesday evening.

The heavy rainfall pound various parts of the Uasin Gishu county leading to floods that made the roads around the Chepkoilel-based university impassible for the students and the resident around it.

Most students spent a night freezing after the floods made its way into their premises due to the poor drainage around the area.

However, no casualties have been reported after the heavy rains.
