Emmanuel Talam has listed 3 questions that his boss, Deputy President Dr William Ruto has about the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Writing on Twitter, Mr Talam said that the DP wanted to know where the copies of the BBI were, who was opposing the report and where the funding for the initiative was coming from.
He dismissed anything else outside the confines of those questions as a circus by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party.
"DP Ruto asked 3 simple questions; where're the BBI report copies? Who's opposed to BBI to warrant a campaign? Where's the funding from? Hii yote ngine ni kipindi ya ODM, " the DP Ruto aide wrote in his tweet.
Ruto's fundamental questions, through his aide, come just a day after he strongly railed against the BBI meetings planned across the country and are being spearheaded by Raila Odinga and his allies.
The country's second in command took particular issue with the meeting that was held in Kisii county on the BBI, wondering why it was held yet there was no one in the country who had opposed the BBI report.
He claimed, without providing evidence, that the meeting was being funded by public resources, something he said was illegal.
The BBI report was launched to the public by President Uhuru Kenyatta over a month ago at the Bomas of Kenya.
