Boniface Mwangi revealed that the MP who is popularly known for his investigative pieces 'Jicho Pevu' was looking for close allies to work together in revealing the rot in Parliament and the Jubilee government.

This elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans who took to different platforms to condemn, support and even advice Mohammed Ali.

Recently, the youthful legislator who clinched the Nyali parliamentary seat through an independent ticket has been accompanying Deputy President William Ruto in his tours along the coast region.

He might be joining the DP in his camp ahead of his quest to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Taking to his official Twitter account, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who is a close ally to DP Ruto took the opportunity to offer a brotherly message to Mohamed Ali who is new in the political field.

The Senate Leader of Majority advised Ali to avoid online activists and instead focus on working for his constituents who will determine his fate after five years.

“My friend @MohaJichoPevu once you join politics you must forget completely depending on the opinions of keyboard warriors. Serve your constituents diligently they will mark your report card in 5 years. Only service to the people will win you elections and give you lasting legacy," tweeted Murkomen.
