On Tuesday, the Supreme Court dismissed the election petition she had filed against Governor Ann Mumbi.

However, speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday night, she vowed to take the case to the JSC, a commission headed by Chief Justice David Maraga.

“There are several other aspects. The JSC (Judicial Service Commission) is one of them. I’m going there and I won’t elaborate on it,” she said as quoted by Nation.

However, she didn't reveal what case she will be taking to the eight-member commission. She noted that some of the judges (who she didn't mention) who had handed her petition will be among her case.

“The judge in question knows about it because there are things that happened that ought not to have taken place,” she revealed.

There are only four judges who handled her case. These are High Court Judge Lucy Gitari (Kerugoya) and appellate justices Stephen Gatembu, Roselyn Nambuye, and Hannah Okwengu.

The former presidential candidate decried lack of justice at the Supreme Court in her petition to unseat Governor Mumbi.

Martha Karua believes the 2017 Kirinyaga gubernatorial race was marred with some irregularities that saw Governor Mumbi win.
