Mavoko MP Patrick Makau has told Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua to stop 'lecturing' Machakos residents on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
On Tuesday, he told off the governor saying Machakos residents understand what they want.
"We know what we want. Our stakes and priorities are known to us," adding "Governor Mutua enjoy your holiday in Australia quietly. Do not lecturer us on BBI."
He said that he is ready to steer the BBI forum in Kitui on February 1 adding that the people of Ukambani understand what they want from it.
"We will take up what is ours and suggest what we want BBI has taken off."
His words come hours after Mutua urged Ukambani leaders to unite and reschedule BBI meetings planned in Ukambani.
According to Mutua, having two parallel BBI meetings will create disunity.
