National Soccer team Harambee Stars has been ranked at position 106 in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.

The Stars are tied with Palestine with both having 1,199 points.

The FIFA rankings come after the international break where Kenya had exemplary performance. 

They drew 1:1 with their North African rivals Egypt in African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers for 2021 which was played in Alexandria. 

Michael Olunga denied the Pharaohs a win after he scored an equaliser. 

The Kenya men's national team also put up a brave fight to secure a 1:1 draw with Togo at Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi.

In the CECAFA region, Uganda is the leading at position 77. During the recent AFCON qualifiers, the Uganda Cranes drew with Burkina Faso and won against Malawi.

In Africa, Senegal's team popularly known as Lions of Teranga is the top at 20th position, followed by Nigeria's Super Eagles at 31st, Algeria, Morroco and Ghana complete the top 5 African teams in 35th, 43rd and 47th positions respectively.

Belgium, France and Brazil fill the top 3 positions in the table. 

Colombia, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Uruguay and England are in the top 10 positions in ascending order.
