Comedian Eric Omondi has paid a glowing tribute to fellow comedian and Churchill show host Daniel Ndambuki (Churchill) for properly advising him on the importance of investing.
Speaking to Citizen TV’s Lilian Muli on Friday, Omondi said that he got a Sh1 million windfall sometime back when he did an advert for telecommunications Company Airtel and was on his way to buy a car when Churchill advised him otherwise.
“I did an advert for Airtel and received my first Sh1 million. I was going to buy a Mercedes car here along Lang’ata road. Churchill told me, brother take a cup of water and sit down,” he said.
He said that the Airtel money came shortly after his house was locked by the landlord after failing to pay rent for several months.
“Aren’t you the same person whose house was locked less than two months ago? Why are you forgetting so fast?” Churchill asked him.
However, the comedian did not reveal how he finally invested the money.
The funny man has been in the comedy industry for over ten years now. He says hard work, persistence and consistency has kept him at the top of his game for that long.
