Eldoret billionaire businessman cum politician Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki has blasted leaders who opposed the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) before the report was officially released.
In a tweet on Tuesday evening, the former Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant said it sycophancy to reject the initiative before reading the official report.
''Shame to all leaders who cast aspersions on BBI before it was unveiled. They are now trooping back in avalanches and will soon be shouting the loudest in support. Stop this turbo charged sycophancy of punching air . Either way jubilee must fall. 2022 is change. CCM plus others,'' said Buzeki.
Buzeki's comments were echoed by renowned lawyer Donald Kipkorir who also blasted leaders who were initially opposing BBI.
''When we said from the beginning that we’ll support BBI report without reading because Baba has said so, we were ridiculed ... Every weekend, TangaTanga abused the handshake and Baba ... But now, all TangaTanga are saying they support ... What were the abuses then for? Utapeli!'' Kipkorir said.
Meanwhile, the BBI team on Tuesday handed over it's report to President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House.
In the report, the team has proposed for the creation of an official leader of opposition and re-introduction of the office of the prime minister.
