Citizen TV’s Hussein Mohamed has announced his departure from the media house. Mohammed, who has been a top political show host, has announced the end of his career at the media house after a 10-year stint.

He made the revelation on Friday after enjoying massive support from different parts of the country when he was still part of the team. He said that he is grateful for the times he shared with the team at Citizen, adding that leaving was not an easy decision to make but he had to do so.

 “I have decided to take a break after October In Sha Allah to concentrate on other matters. Loved the fans, the critics and everything in between. See you soon,” he said.

The host is expected to leave the Media house at the end of the month. He has been playing a pivotal role in the rise of the media house through different shows including his latest News Night show on Tuesday. Before unveiling the new show, Mohammed used to host Big Question news segment. 

He has had a privilege of hosting different personalities in the government including President Uhuru Kenyatta, his Deputy William Ruto, ODM leader Raila Odinga. Mohammed has a great command of the English language, which has made him rise to the top over the years.
